Wimbledon 2014
Strawberries and cream, Pimms, "all whites" and my favourite.....Rafael Nadal!!  #lovewimbledon.

It was an early start in the car but we all couldn't wait to see our favs....mine being Rafa Nadal!  A long day and lots of walking around the grounds I opted for a loose, tennis style pleat dress from Zara and my new Tropéziennes sandals. I loved the colour of this dress......orange, another one of Spring/Summer's 2014 shades that hit the runway.  I always think its a warm, vibrant and happy colour..........perfect against the green grass tennis courts.

Ralph Lauren SS14 Collection............sharing my love for bright citrus colours!!
Colour co-ordinated nails...........Yellow and Green for Wimbledon 2014 and the World Cup!
Co-ordinated tennis accessories to complete the look.

"Rally for Bally" wristband - In memory of former British player Elena Baltacha who died from liver cancer aged 30, on 4th May 2014.
After an hour watching my idol on the practice courts I managed a quick selfie!!!

Feminine, effortless and elegant - how to define pure French chic.

I often am on the 'look out' for cute, simple day dresses which require little effort and outshine by themselves.  This super petite monochrome stripe dress felt like it was tailored-made for me when I tried this on.  Partnered with a soft, plain scarf and some flat pumps = outfit complete.

My secret tool......Scunci Topsy Tail.  This looped wand can create a variety of twists, twirls and loops with your hair.  Continuing with the elegant and effortless Parisian look I chose a basic ponytail loop.

Arrivé à Paris!  After 2 years of talking about visiting Paris and the French Open we finally got round to organising a trip.

My treasured item I always have packed or ready, (especially living in England) is my mac!  A loose, lightweight but fitted mac with large buttons can pretty much go with everything and can be a life saver if you ever get caught in a shower!

I have a black and cream mac both from Zara which I mix and match depending on the weather and my outfit for the day.  This trip I decided on the cream, and my basic, comfy classics; light, soft denim jeans, preppy navy polo shirt and pumps.
To keep the rain away for the weekend I wore my We Positive leather bracelet for good luck!!

YELLOW: This season's hottest shade.

With blonde hair, yellow is not always the first colour I would pick but the frill sleeves, button detail and shade of this Zara number caught my eye and I was ordering online immediately!

I waited until the last evening (best tan!) to wear this dress and decided to leave my beach hair.
I am always on the hunt for dresses that can be worn both casually with flats or smart with a pair of heels. You can pretty much re-create a different look with the same pieces.

Button-up for a smart, formal, evening look.
Unbutton for a casual, sleeker day look.

Tones of pink and purple CND shellac nails with the yellow will "nail" the look!

Today I returned to Bonifacio in Corsica, 4 years since I worked a summer season on the island!!  A beautiful, medieval fortress town which once housed Napoleon in 1793 which is brilliant for strolling around the alleys, boutique shopping and French cuisine.
My jumpsuit....definitely one of my best buys!  I absolutely love this from O'Neill and when going on holiday this is always packed in my suitcase.....1 outfit complete!

This all-in-one is easy, effortless and ideal for a day or an evening out.  Soft, loose cotton material; it is not too tight or baggy, yet comfortable to move around and sit down in.

My top tips:

* Right Fit -   Not too tight so you cannot move around and sit down.  But not too baggy....this should look feminine.
* Day/Night - Roll-up the hem lines and whip out the flats/flip flops for the day.  Maximise your height with some pointy heels, you cannot distinguish your upper half to the lower half (if you are petite!)
* Minimal Accessories -  Less is more, a jumpsuit speaks for itself so keep the accessories to a minimum. One chunky necklace, or a pair of long earrings will usually suffice.
* Colours/Prints - Plain black is a safe but classy/flattering colour for all body shapes, perfect for dinner or drinks.  For those of you feeling more adventurous, a floral or bright bold jumpsuit can make you stand out in the crowd.
Add a layer if the weather changes; a crochet tassled black jumper was handy on this occasion........
