...... simple, complimentary and effortless colours.
Not quite Spring yet.... it can be hard to brighten up a Winter wardrobe. White? Not quite a bright colour, but today's highlight to my all black look.
One of my favourite shops at the moment is Stradivarius, they offer great basics and printed pieces. This tailored white blazer/jacket, pair of geometric print trousers and basic black roll-neck top all from Stradivarius created today's look.
Added Accessories? Shoes, bags and jewellery are always important to me and unfortunately where I have expensive taste! I always think with clothes you can mix and match but accessories you have to spend a little more.
A leather pair of monk strap Massimo Dutti shoes with studded detail, a leather crocodile skin Modalu crossbag and a dainty gold layered Zara necklace were my treats for today's outfit!
Treat yourself!! x

One of my new years resolutions ......to continue to visit new places!
With some time off over the festive period (and having eaten a little too much!)...... I visited The Friars in Aylesford. A frosty morning, bluebird sky, I took in the fresh air and the beautiful grounds. An ancient religious house of the Order of the Carmelites dating back to the 13th century, it was peaceful, relaxing and tranquil.
As the frost lay over the grounds, I was sure to wrap up warm! Nothing better than a roll neck jumper (to keep your neck warm) and some simply skinny jeans. Plus my new navy knit cape which was a present for Christmas. Double knitwear!!
After the frost....hopefully comes the snow?!! I hope! Stay warm everyone!
Cape: Massimo Dutti
Roll Neck: Gap
* Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year *
A selection of my festive photo's!
Thank you to everyone for your support and help in my first year of blogging!
Coat: Jack Wills
Chilly, crisp, frosty mornings ........ just want to feel warm and snug?
Wrap yourself up in A/W's must have cover-up. This one chic piece can transform the most simple of outfits. The cape....a soft knit jumper, skinny pants and leather boots creates a great casual look.
Accessorize up? Add a scarf, hat or headband for extra cosyness! My collection of hats is very minimal (not many styles suit me), but I decided to branch out.
With Thanks to our friends Martin & Tracy Killick xxx
Winter sun.......... yes please!
What better way to spend my last holiday of the year......a girly weekend in Dubai with our friend Tracy, my mum and my sister!
An action-packed few days... a trip up the Burj Khalifa, shopping in the Dubai Mall, an abra boat ride around Souk Madinat Jumeirah and much, much more!
Conscious of the warm temperatures and respecting the Islamic dress code I packed loose, cool clothing and comfy flats. Sunnies, messenger bag, my hair tied up and of course....my camera!
