One of my new years resolutions ......to continue to visit new places!
With some time off over the festive period (and having eaten a little too much!)...... I visited The Friars in Aylesford. A frosty morning, bluebird sky, I took in the fresh air and the beautiful grounds. An ancient religious house of the Order of the Carmelites dating back to the 13th century, it was peaceful, relaxing and tranquil.
As the frost lay over the grounds, I was sure to wrap up warm! Nothing better than a roll neck jumper (to keep your neck warm) and some simply skinny jeans. Plus my new navy knit cape which was a present for Christmas. Double knitwear!!
After the frost....hopefully comes the snow?!! I hope! Stay warm everyone!
Cape: Massimo Dutti
Roll Neck: Gap
* Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year *
A selection of my festive photo's!
Thank you to everyone for your support and help in my first year of blogging!
Coat: Jack Wills
Chilly, crisp, frosty mornings ........ just want to feel warm and snug?
Wrap yourself up in A/W's must have cover-up. This one chic piece can transform the most simple of outfits. The cape....a soft knit jumper, skinny pants and leather boots creates a great casual look.
Accessorize up? Add a scarf, hat or headband for extra cosyness! My collection of hats is very minimal (not many styles suit me), but I decided to branch out.
Skirts & Sweaters Season!
For a simple transitional combo this Autumn team a soft sweatshirt with a textured skirt. The balance of a warm top but bare legs and skate pumps is perfect for that downtime vibe.
I love to vary my look; from city chic...to beach babe....to country girl. But today's look.....Sports Style. The sun was still shining but the temperature slightly chilly........perfect for a skirt/sweatshirt combo!
Love matching pieces? For me it depends on the pieces or the print! I love matching tailored separates.... especially cute short suits. But I was instantly drawn to this landscape print casual two piece!
Back in July I reached my David Lloyd tennis finals and have been lucky enough to get hold of some photo's that were taken from the day!
With some brilliant competitive matches, the sun shining and a very supportive crowd I was extremely happy to win both of my matches! My ladies doubles with my partner Charlotte Knight and my mixed doubles with my partner James Delaney (Thank you!).
Always a shorts and vest girl, I decided for a change.....as it was finals day. I chose my Nike Flouncy Knit Dress
in white, sporty yet feminine and with Dri-FIT fabric. Kitted out head to tie in Nike with my black tennis shorts, head tie and trainers......I felt confident for the day ahead.
A big thank you to David Lloyd, Kings Hill, Shane Theobald and all of the other coaches for organising a great tournament! Also thanks to Lisette for the brilliant photography.
