One of my favourite cities to explore.... romantic, magical and the perfect Christmas getaway!
Wrapped up in my fur coat, and with a few cafe stops the many arrondissements of the city were explored. As true tourists we visited Paris's main attractions, watched a Paris Saint Germain football match at the Parc des Princes stadium and ate too many pain au chocolats! But my favourite has to be the beautiful French gothic architecture, particularly at the Notre Dame.
The last 2 days of the trip were even more special... Disneyland! A world totally transformed into Christmas... the parade, fireworks, Mickey's Magical Christmas Lights, boutique shops and the characters costumes.
One city I have always wanted to visit, and I already want to go
back! Trams, hilly, cobbled streets, old pastel-coloured buildings.
A beautiful Portuguese city in 30'c temperatures in October, I spent 3 days
exploring.
Easy to travel around either on the metro, by tram or by foot, there
were so many places of interest. Praça do Comércio, Rossio Square,
Lisbon Zoo, Lisbon Oceanarium, Elevador da Glória were just some of my
favourite attractions.
Staying in the heart of the Lisbon, Bairro Alto Suites was perfect for our
stay. A recently renovated XV century building, with patisserie's nearby
and within walking distance to everything.
It's December....which means winter and Christmas!
Every year my sister and I travel up to London and enjoy a Christmas day together. This usually means Winter Wonderland, Harrods, Selfridges and Christmas lights down Oxford Street!
It was a crisp, freezing cold, sunny day which mean't I could wear my new leopard print faux fur longline coat. I am a strong believer in that style has very little to do with money, and this coat certainly did not break the bank. Designer pieces are always copied by high-street brands.....it's just about hunting them down!
I instantly picked up this coat because one; it was longline and two; I liked the original classic print. To be worn raffishly, freely or not at all. I went all-out!!
Don't be afraid to wear those fierce animal prints..... x
Not quite ready for the Christmas Countdown my sister and I escaped the cold UK and hopped on an Emirates flight to Dubai....
Sunbathing, shopping, camel riding, dhow boat trips, and the unforgettable fountains at the Dubai Mall. Just one last holiday to end 2016 and a chance to tick one more thing off the bucket list with a trip to the desert!
Definitely a memorable trip I would recommend to anyone visiting Dubai. Dune bashing, sunset photographs, camel riding, henna hand painting, three-course dinner and belly dancing at the Bedouin style camp..... FANTASTIC!
Wishing for an endless summer? Trying to cling to your sunny staples?!! I definitely am!
Autumn is officially here......which sadly means wearing more clothes. Even on our last night in Portugal, it was chilly. But it did mean I could wear my new favourite dress from Zara #thatdress
Flowy, easy, flattering and bang on trend.... I cannot stop wanting to wear this dress! Button cuffs, buttoned back and feminine frilled hemline, I appreciate the small details on this dress.
Minimal accessories and an effortless bun... this look was all about the dress. Just remember subtlety is key....
