The 70's are back ...!
Fashion trends come back around and this season is no exception. So ditch the skinny jeans and pull out the palazzo pants!
A day out with my sister to the quaint, historic town of Rye in East Sussex, I embraced the "hippie" style!
Once the haunt of smugglers, Rye regularly attracts tourist and film crews. Ancient buildings, cobbled streets and secret passages we enjoyed a stroll around the shops, and afternoon tea!
The palazzo trousers, suede tassled bag and print headband contributed to today's 70's inspired outfit. A purchase from Corsica, the printed wide-legged trousers felt like I had my PJ's on!! Super comfy, soft silk, flowy ... these are packed for my next Holly Day ...

... home to tapas, sangria, Gaudi's architecture and more importantly shopping!! Booked as a surprise birthday treat for my mum, we enjoyed 4 days of girly time!
The days plan was Barcelona Zoo, Parc de la Ciutadella and a little more browsing of the shops. A day for a practical core summer item .... a summer LBD.
Simple, effortless and with an open back.... my coral Mango
dress was much needed. It was a super hot day, so this loose, fluid fabric, flowy dress kept me feeling cool and stylish.
Accessories can make a simple dress shine... a tassled suede bag and floral yellow headband purchased the day before from Shankara Barcelona
(a great boho style shop).

Inspired by the pro's?! Practicing, on-court or off-court check out NikeCourt's SW19 Collection...
Established as one of the most prestigious championships, the tournament continues to uphold its traditional strict "all-white" dress code. NikeCourt's consistent innovation of Dri-FIT clothing helps players remain comfortable with its lightweight and moisture controlling outfits.
A time to accentuate our tans and make the most of the end of summer.......WHITE-OUT!
Whilst my sister chose minimal, and simplicity with a cute, chic, loose fit dress, I went monochromatic. Blocked patterns or embroidery in black and white create a timeless, classic look and will work well alongside existing pieces in your wardrobe. In contrast to the rich detailing skirt, I chose a basic white shirt, white flats and a white flower headband.
Crisp all-white was highlighted across the runways this SS14 whether it was a tailored or casual athletic look. Not sure on all white?! Then mix it up through different use of textiles; including leathers, silk, crochet or denim.

Bella....the only word to describe the island of Sardinia. Beautiful white sandy beaches, quaint Italian architecture and the best ice cream ever!
My friend Lisa and I only had 1 week on this picturesque island so we decided to make the most of it and hire a car. #roadtrip!
First stop was La Pelosa beach, Stintino. Situated in the north-western tip, the shallow turquoise waters are accompanied by an ancient watchtower, the Torre della Pelosa.
In and out of the car, exploring the island I wore my new purchase from Zara....my dungarees. Love or hate? I love them! Soft, light denim and easy to wear in the blazing heat.
Love, love, love!! My headbands are an absolute must on a hot, sunny day. Patterned long headbands can really spice up a summery look and cool you down at the same time. I always love European girls with bronzed tans and long, wavy beach hair.............complete with a headband.
I have made my own headbands using floral and bold fabrics. Otherwise Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, Urban Outfitters and Accessorize offer some of the best unique, delicate hair accessories.
Lunchtime and we stopped off at Santa Teresa, a town of colourful clean buildings and streets and a traditional square filled with shops and restaurants.
Baia Sardinia was the next stop........where we found Ice cream and We Positive bracelets!
Just caught the sunset on the roadtrip back!
