...... simple, complimentary and effortless colours.
Not quite Spring yet.... it can be hard to brighten up a Winter wardrobe. White? Not quite a bright colour, but today's highlight to my all black look.
One of my favourite shops at the moment is Stradivarius, they offer great basics and printed pieces. This tailored white blazer/jacket, pair of geometric print trousers and basic black roll-neck top all from Stradivarius created today's look.
Added Accessories? Shoes, bags and jewellery are always important to me and unfortunately where I have expensive taste! I always think with clothes you can mix and match but accessories you have to spend a little more.
A leather pair of monk strap Massimo Dutti shoes with studded detail, a leather crocodile skin Modalu crossbag and a dainty gold layered Zara necklace were my treats for today's outfit!
Treat yourself!! x

Today I returned to Bonifacio in Corsica, 4 years since I worked a summer season on the island!! A beautiful, medieval fortress town which once housed Napoleon in 1793 which is brilliant for strolling around the alleys, boutique shopping and French cuisine.
My jumpsuit....definitely one of my best buys! I absolutely love this from O'Neill and when going on holiday this is always packed in my suitcase.....1 outfit complete!
This all-in-one is easy, effortless and ideal for a day or an evening out. Soft, loose cotton material; it is not too tight or baggy, yet comfortable to move around and sit down in.
My top tips:
* Right Fit - Not too tight so you cannot move around and sit down. But not too baggy....this should look feminine.
* Day/Night - Roll-up the hem lines and whip out the flats/flip flops for the day. Maximise your height with some pointy heels, you cannot distinguish your upper half to the lower half (if you are petite!)
* Minimal Accessories - Less is more, a jumpsuit speaks for itself so keep the accessories to a minimum. One chunky necklace, or a pair of long earrings will usually suffice.
* Colours/Prints - Plain black is a safe but classy/flattering colour for all body shapes, perfect for dinner or drinks. For those of you feeling more adventurous, a floral or bright bold jumpsuit can make you stand out in the crowd.
Add a layer if the weather changes; a crochet tassled black jumper was handy on this occasion........
Bella....the only word to describe the island of Sardinia. Beautiful white sandy beaches, quaint Italian architecture and the best ice cream ever!
My friend Lisa and I only had 1 week on this picturesque island so we decided to make the most of it and hire a car. #roadtrip!
First stop was La Pelosa beach, Stintino. Situated in the north-western tip, the shallow turquoise waters are accompanied by an ancient watchtower, the Torre della Pelosa.
In and out of the car, exploring the island I wore my new purchase from Zara....my dungarees. Love or hate? I love them! Soft, light denim and easy to wear in the blazing heat.
Love, love, love!! My headbands are an absolute must on a hot, sunny day. Patterned long headbands can really spice up a summery look and cool you down at the same time. I always love European girls with bronzed tans and long, wavy beach hair.............complete with a headband.
I have made my own headbands using floral and bold fabrics. Otherwise Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, Urban Outfitters and Accessorize offer some of the best unique, delicate hair accessories.
Lunchtime and we stopped off at Santa Teresa, a town of colourful clean buildings and streets and a traditional square filled with shops and restaurants.
Baia Sardinia was the next stop........where we found Ice cream and We Positive bracelets!
Just caught the sunset on the roadtrip back!

Bonjourno Alghero! The nearest town with its cobbled lanes, pastel coloured walls, bobbing boats and delicious ice cream parlours.
Armani, Gucci, Prada, Versace and Roberto Cavalli are just a few major brands home to Italy. Hugely influenced by the European fashions, I love the Italian fashion and how they always "dress-up".
Conscious to "blend-in" but with the hot, sunny weather I opted for neutral, soft colours; peach, white and brown. In the summer choose natural fabrics, comfort and cool to look good in the heat.
A loose peach Cami from Zara, white/brown stripe tailored shorts, soft leather brown loafers and a large leather shopper on my arm.
My little piece of Italy.....my Gucci sunglasses!! A birthday gift but definitely well worth indulging in. A good pair of sunglasses can last you a lifetime and can really set-off an outfit.
As well as a little piece from Portugal.....my Artelusa
cork necklace. Made in Portugal with natural cork Artelusa
offer unique, costume jewellery; necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings.
