Seville
Visit Seville!

The capital of southern Spain's Andalusia region.  Seville is famous for flamenco dancing, gothic architecture and fresh churros.  Lonely Planet voted the city number 1 in its top 10 cities to visit in 2018.

It was my first visit to Seville and hopefully not my last!  Easy to explore, mild temperatures in winter and less tourists... I would suggest visiting from September to February.  March to June is high season in the city due to local festivities and great weather.  July and August can see temperatures exceeding 35'c, where it is advised not to be outside from midday and early afternoon.

I always find the best way to explore is on foot, you have flexibility and freedom to plan your days.  However, a real highlight for me was taking the horse drawn carriage tour from either the Plaza de España or Catedral de Sevilla.  It is a very popular attraction in the city, and a great way to see all of the sights if you are short of time!

Hola de Mallorca!

Mallorca the largest of the Balearic islands and part of Spain is located in the Mediterranean. Rugged cliffs, caves, mountains, hidden bays and some of most pictureque views I have ever seen. Just a 2 hour flight from London, Norwegian Airlines offer some great off-season deals!

The weather in January made for some dramatic photography and probably some of my favourite shots I have ever taken.

Places of interest in the North of the island:

• 365 Calvari Steps – Pollença
• Pollença old town
• Puig De Maria & Monastery – 330m hike
• Cap De Formentor – Most northerly point of the island
• Alcudia

Summer Brights
BARCELONA ... home to tapas, sangria, Gaudi's architecture and more importantly shopping!!  Booked as a surprise birthday treat for my mum, we enjoyed 4 days of girly time!

The days plan was Barcelona Zoo, Parc de la Ciutadella and a little more browsing of the shops.  A day for a practical core summer item .... a summer LBD.

Simple, effortless and with an open back.... my coral Mango dress was much needed.  It was a super hot day, so this loose, fluid fabric, flowy dress kept me feeling cool and stylish.
Accessories can make a simple dress shine... a tassled suede bag and floral yellow headband purchased the day before from Shankara Barcelona (a great boho style shop).

INTO the BLUE
Going away on a city break?  Essential to pack lightly and be organised with your outfits. Matching together or worn as seperates this twin chic set was first on my list.  Soft, tailored, textured linen material, the top and shorts nailed this summer seasons bloom prints trend.

Like any vibrant pattern, the bright blue floral against the crisp white needs no explanation.  Keeping it simple, I paired a delicate, layered necklace and other plain gold jewellery.

Fresh, cool, tailored and bold; enjoy my co-ordinates of the day......

Don't be afraid to match a whole outfit... even if it is print overload!
