Feminine, effortless and elegant - how to define pure French chic.
I often am on the 'look out' for cute, simple day dresses which require little effort and outshine by themselves. This super petite monochrome stripe dress felt like it was tailored-made for me when I tried this on. Partnered with a soft, plain scarf and some flat pumps = outfit complete.

My secret tool......Scunci Topsy Tail. This looped wand can create a variety of twists, twirls and loops with your hair. Continuing with the elegant and effortless Parisian look I chose a basic ponytail loop.
Arrivé à Paris! After 2 years of talking about visiting Paris and the French Open we finally got round to organising a trip.
My treasured item I always have packed or ready, (especially living in England) is my mac! A loose, lightweight but fitted mac with large buttons can pretty much go with everything and can be a life saver if you ever get caught in a shower!
I have a black and cream mac both from Zara which I mix and match depending on the weather and my outfit for the day. This trip I decided on the cream, and my basic, comfy classics; light, soft denim jeans, preppy navy polo shirt and pumps.
To keep the rain away for the weekend I wore my We Positive leather bracelet for good luck!!

This season's hottest shade.
With blonde hair, yellow is not always the first colour I would pick but the frill sleeves, button detail and shade of this Zara number caught my eye and I was ordering online immediately!
I waited until the last evening (best tan!) to wear this dress and decided to leave my beach hair.
I am always on the hunt for dresses that can be worn both casually with flats or smart with a pair of heels. You can pretty much re-create a different look with the same pieces.
Button-up for a smart, formal, evening look.
Unbutton for a casual, sleeker day look.
Tones of pink and purple CND shellac nails with the yellow will "nail" the look!

For that feminine but practical look, we have seen another 90's return......the skort. This hybrid fashion piece which looks like a skirt from the front but shorts from the back is brilliant for those windy weather days.
May on the North West coast in Sardinia, the evenings were a little chilly!
I love the skort because it offers a sporty yet chic, girly opportunity. Personally I am definitely one for flats - a crisp, white pair of converse, pumps, loafers or sandals. For an extra girly, sophisticated/evening look - some hot heels and bold, statement jewellery.

Bonjourno Alghero! The nearest town with its cobbled lanes, pastel coloured walls, bobbing boats and delicious ice cream parlours.
Armani, Gucci, Prada, Versace and Roberto Cavalli are just a few major brands home to Italy. Hugely influenced by the European fashions, I love the Italian fashion and how they always "dress-up".
Conscious to "blend-in" but with the hot, sunny weather I opted for neutral, soft colours; peach, white and brown. In the summer choose natural fabrics, comfort and cool to look good in the heat.
A loose peach Cami from Zara, white/brown stripe tailored shorts, soft leather brown loafers and a large leather shopper on my arm.
My little piece of Italy.....my Gucci sunglasses!! A birthday gift but definitely well worth indulging in. A good pair of sunglasses can last you a lifetime and can really set-off an outfit.
As well as a little piece from Portugal.....my Artelusa
cork necklace. Made in Portugal with natural cork Artelusa
